Where to begin. Ol’ Red rusted through over the past 60 years, two decades in my possession.

I bought the far-gone car in Quilcene along with a second 1200 Fiat painted blue – blue was its fate.

I pulled what I could from Blue and left it behind when I moved to Stevenson. I should’ve done the same with old Rust.

But I had caught the eye of my first beautiful Italian mistress 40 years ago in Olympia.

That car remained in the state capital when I moved north to PT. I should’ve kept that one. I think I pulled the engine. It’s so long ago, I don’t remember.

But now I deal with old Rust, old dead Rust, old once red rust.

2 days later

I’ve pulled the radiator, carburetor, water pump, fan and housing and loosened the head and manifold but have one bolt remaining which I can’t get a grip on.
